Category 6 Park Hyatt Mexico City Pushes Back Opening Date, Accepting Reservations for April
Hyatt has updated the timeline for the much-awaited Park Hyatt Mexico City, and it’s unfortunately opening later than we previously expected.
The hotel previously showed a January 2027 opening date and was accepting reservations for that timeline, but now bookings are only available for April 2027 and beyond.
There’s good news, though. For a Park Hyatt, the hotel is reasonably priced with World of Hyatt points.
Let’s take a look.
Park Hyatt Mexico Opening April 2027
The Park Hyatt Mexico City is now accepting reservations for stays from April 1, 2027.
When it opens, it will feature 155 guest rooms and suites, all offering views of Chapultepec Park or the Polanco district. According to renderings, room options will include suites on high floors and a nearly 2,400-square-foot presidential suite.

Amenities include a fitness center, a swimming pool, and a spa. Plans for the hotel also include 4 dining options: a cocktail bar, a garden bar, an all-day restaurant, and a specialty Mexican restaurant.
The hotel is located in the heart of one of the city’s poshest neighborhoods, Polanco. You’ll be close to fantastic dining, art galleries, museums, and more. The Park Hyatt Mexico City is approximately 30 minutes by car from Mexico City International Airport Benito Juárez (MEX) or 50 minutes via public transit.
The Park Hyatt Mexico City will join 4 other Hyatt hotels in the city, which include Andaz Mexico City Condesa and Hyatt Regency Insurgentes Mexico City.
Booking the Park Hyatt Mexico City
As we mentioned above, the Park Hyatt Mexico City is now accepting reservations.
This hotel will open as a World of Hyatt Category 6 property, with the following award pricing. Award nights will cost anywhere from 20,000 to 40,000 points per night. There are even nights available at the Lowest tier (20,000 points) during the opening month in April next year.

If you have points or a free night certificate to redeem, we strongly recommend using them, as cash rates are over $1,300 per night!
Hot Tip:
You can earn World of Hyatt points by transferring Chase Ultimate Rewards or Bilt Rewards points to Hyatt at a 1:1 ratio or by having one of the best credit cards for Hyatt loyalists. You can also use a Hyatt Category 1-7 free night certificate here, which you can earn by staying 60 qualifying nights or earning 100,000 base points in a calendar year.
Final Thoughts
One of the most anticipated hotels in Mexico City now has an official opening date in April 2027. There are many reasons to be excited about the Park Hyatt Mexico City’s opening, but what’s most impressive is how affordable it will be with Hyatt points. In fact, it will probably be one of the best sweet spots for award travel in the city.
