Rakuten Offer for Citi Strata Elite
Last year Rakuten started offering bonuses for select credit cards from Chase and more recently Bank of America. Now there’s a new addition, the Citi Strata Premier, which has a bonus of $100 or 10,000 Bilt Points. Let’s see the details.
How This Works
If you go through Rakuten and then apply for the Citi Strata Premier, you will receive this bonus in addition to the current welcome bonus offered by Citi (60,000 ThankYou points). That is an extra $100 or 10,000 Bilt points. Just remember that you need to have Bilt Silver status, or higher, in order to get 1 Bilt point per $0.01 of Rakuten cash back.
It’s worth mentioning that this offer only shows up for Rakuten members that have accounts that earn cash back or Bilt Points. Those who earn Amex Membership Rewards will not see this offer, or any other credit cards offers besides the Rakuten Amex card.

Conclusion
This is a nice added bonus on top of the welcome offer on the Citi Strata Premier card. Sadly the welcome bonus from Citi is only 60,000 ThankYou points for now, which is as low as it gets for this card. Hopefully we see a higher bonus soon, which can stack with the Rakuten offer.
